these are horrific. haha.
my friend laci came over yesterday as we had planned on having a valentine bake, but due to four children being in the house [two of them babies] things didn't go so well.
i've been looking forward to trying royal icing on cookies for a while. laci made it and you can find the recipe link on her blog.
i will be perfecting them in the future..i had made two that looked really pretty and my husband ate them, so these are what i was left with..
if you want good tasting cookie over beautiful i would stick with buttercream :)

I think I'm going to try to "flood" some cookies with buttercream... hmm & I bought one of those ridiculously expensive martha stewart paper punches for the wrappers because I am kind of obsessed with scallops for some reason! I think I will get enough use out of this one though!
